A PUTRID PERSONALITY

Good day readers, I apologize for the long break, we had some things we need to sort out but we are back fully now.

Have you ever heard of the story of Queen Elizabeth the second, they call her the kleptomaniac queen. Does it ring a bell? Queen Elizabeth II was married to George the V.  The English queen got it wrong, instead of loving people and using things, she used people and loved things. She had an emotional lurch of the heart and she hated to pay for anything she saw that she liked. On seeing, the queen simply converted. She would say “I am caressing it with my eyes” but it never stopped there. She was so covetous that she acquired jewels, furniture, Faberge animals, watches, and gold boxes by means of begging to extortion to outright theft. If she saw a piece of jewels she liked. She would hold it up and give it a hungry gaze with a wild smile. She would then indicate appreciating the object been given to her as a gesture or offer to buy it at a ridiculously cheap price. If the two offers were declined, she would simply swipe it into her bag. Antique dealers, jewelers and estate owners locked their valuables before the Queen came.

This didn’t only smash her name, it also affected her family. She had no time or passion for her six children. She left them to servants who pinched them. She did not kiss, cuddle or hug her kids. They were all starved of love particularly her youngest John, who was handicapped and epileptic. He was hidden away in a cottage with care givers till his death at 14.

She died of Lung cancer in 1953. Her son, David; Duke of Windsor, the former King Edward the VIII remarked

”somehow I feel that the fluids in her veins must always have been as icy cold as they are now in death”

My point? If you like be the Queen of Vietnam or freaking England, nothing stinks as much as a bad behavior. A bad behavior stains every other good thing about you; a bad behavior is like walking in a pool of mud. No one cares about your Oscar de la Renta or Calvin Klein all they can see is how dirty you are. How stained and brown you are turning out. Why do you think some really beautiful ladies end up single while the ‘just there’ ones get married to the best of guys? No one wants a wife who thinks the world revolves around her and therefore she can be ill behaved for all she cares because ummm….well guys are dying to have her No! No one wants that. A bad behavior kills all the beauty in anyone. I know, being poorly behaved is much easier. It is easy to be untidy than tidy but at the end of the day, who sleeps in the dirt? It is easier to sell pussy than work hard, it is easier to loose your temper than swallow it, it is easier to misbehave but what is the end product, and one good question; at the end of it all, does the end justify the means? What do you carry to your grave at the end, that dash between your date of birth and your date of departure, what will you be remembered for? I read something somewhere, someone said;

“If my soul is the only thing I take at the end of my life, let it be the best thing I have”

We are not perfect, I get it. We are just humans, but at least let’s try to be good. Let’s try to walk away from a tempting scenario with our dignity intact, let’s try not to take the wrong attractive option, let’s try to work hard, let’s try to be humble, let’s try to be calm, lets try…..
